The Ohio State Firefighters’ Nurses' Foundation was established many years ago to provide high education to qualified applicants going into the nursing profession. The OSFA used to administer the foundation until May 7, 2004 when we endowed our funds to three Ohio Universities; University of Akron, The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati.
Applicants now apply directly to the participating universities. Scholarships are awarded at the university’s discretion adhering to guidelines established by the OSFA.
